Melamine boards
Melamine boards are mainly used as the doors, carcasses and frames of kitchen and bedroom cupboards. It comes in a variety of colours and textured finishes to give you the ultra-modern look or beautiful natural wood touch and feel. Melamine consists of wood chips compressed together and then finished off with a melamine layer. It is also available in an E1 standard upon request.
Supawood
Supawood also referred to as MDF is medium density fibre board. It is fine fibres compressed under huge pressure with glue to give you a finely sanded finish perfect for spraying or painting. Often used for bespoke furniture or even routered for modern kitchen door designs.
Chipboard
Fine chips of wood are compressed with glue to give you an economical board perfect for partitioning, cupboard interiors and upholstery..
Supagloss
Supagloss is Supawood/MDF covered in a high gloss melamine finish to give your kitchen, shopfitting or bedroom the new bespoke, shick and clean look. These boards are great for doors and shopfitting.
PVC Foam Boards
The boards are manufactured from polymers and thermoplastics, thereby providing the advantage of 100% recyclability, which ensures the smallest environmental impact. This is something we hold dear.
MARINE PLYWOOD
Marine Plywood is mainly used in very wet environments. It is strong and durable and handles sea water well. If you have a boat and need a bench seat fitted or the dashboard of a motor boat you would use Marine Plywood which has a special glue and bonding method to ensure no delamination. A sealer or varnish is advisable.
INTERIOR COMMERCIAL PLYWOOD
Interior Commercial Plywood is mainly used for indoor furniture and panelling. It also gets used regularly as insets in doors or backings of antiques and other cabinets.
EXTERIOR COMMERCIAL PLYWOOD
Commercial Exterior Plywood is the little brother of Marine Plywood. This plywood has phenolic glue which is water resistant and can be used outside. However it cannot be exposed to water like Marine Plywood but is adequate for outdoor use. If you want to add or replace a garden shed roof or pool pump cover this would be the plywood you choose. It will still need a coat of varnish for extra protection and longevity. The surface of commercial plywood is generally a hardwood veneer of a few mm thick and cross hatched
EXTERIOR PINE PLYWOOD
Exterior Pine Plywood is similar to the commercial in the sense it also has the exterior glue but the plywood is made from Pine and is thus not as durable as commercial plywood for exterior use. Pine Plywood is usually used for furniture manufacture and backings for cupboards and cabinets.
Our product provides additional advantages to MDF, Chipboard and Melamine, with its natural resistance to, not only moisture, but also to insects. We find this to be extremely important.
Fresh from production, PVC Foam Boards provide a consistently smooth and bright surface. They are lightweight, durable and provide excellent chemical resistance. In addition, the boards possess excellent thermal properties, making PVC Foam Board a versatile choice, suitable for both Interior and Exterior use.
Foam Boards are easily handled and can be machined using circular saws, jigsaws and CNC machines. They can be printed on, painted, Ducoed or laminated with either timber veneer or a PVC vinyl with 1000s of designs available, potentially, rendering all interior elements “Green” and formaldehyde-free.
Laminated Pine shelving
Laminated Pine shelving is a great product for shelving in Bedrooms, lounges and garages. They are ready to paint and varnish giving you a lovely natural looking shelf. They are durable and long lasting. The brackets should be spaced every 600mm apart ensuring good weight distribution and no sagging, ready to take the load.
Nutec board
Nutec board is a fibre cement board great for exterior use. Often used in soffits or for the construction of beach houses. It has good insulating properties and is very heat resistant. It comes with a lovely wood grain finish giving your house a beautiful look and feel.
OSB
OSB (Oriented Strand Board) is technically not a plywood, as wood chips are layered upon each other at different angles and laminated under pressure using an exterior glue. This board is perfect for construction of interior walls or as panelling for a contemporary look. The 21mm is strong enough to be used for decking.
BIRCH PLYWOOD
Interior Commercial Plywood is mainly used for indoor furniture finish and the fine plywood layers give a lovely finish. Edges can be routered which results in a smooth finish with defined layers. It is mainly used in furniture manufacture due to it beautiful finish.
SHUTTERPLY
As the name describes this plywood is mainly used for shuttering or formwork. It does not have a great face finish and is rough and ready to be used a few times and then dumped. It is also manufactured with an exterior glue and is a cheap option for shelving or decking in a loft roof.
RESIN FACE PLYWOOD
This is the big brother of Shutterply and comes at a premium. The resin layer on both sides comes in a dark brown to black finish and is perfect for shuttering and formwork. If you want a super smooth finish and a product that can be used many times over, then this is the product for you.
